Berlin, 1936 - Jesse Owens wins 100m, the first of his four gold medals

In 1936 Jesse Owens, an athlete from the USA, won four gold medals in Berlin. Nazi propaganda promoted concepts of "Aryan racial superiority" and depicted ethnic Africans as inferior. Owens proved Hitler wrong about his narrow view of African American people.
